Programmer Simulator · effective 29 October 2026
The short version
Programmer Simulator is a single-player iPhone game made by Zaza Gejadze (ZazaG Dev), "we" below. The game has no account and no servers of its own. We never ask for your name, email, location, contacts, camera or microphone, and we never sell data.
The game does use services from Apple and Google, and those companies receive some data, as set out below.
What the game collects, and why
Your game progress
Your save (money, apps, home, settings and so on) is stored on your iPhone. If iCloud is turned on for the game, Apple keeps a copy in your iCloud account so your progress follows you to another device. We cannot see your save.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple handles your player name and the scores the game reports for leaderboards. Other players can see your Game Center name and scores on those leaderboards.
In-app purchases
Purchases are made through Apple. We never see your payment details. The game receives a record of what you bought, with Apple's transaction number, so it can give you the item once and restore it later. That record is kept in your save.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple sends us crash reports and basic usage statistics. Apple does not tell us who you are. We use them only to fix bugs.
Rewarded ads (Google AdMob)
An ad only plays when you choose to watch one for a reward. The ads come from Google AdMob, and while it shows ads Google may collect:
- your IP address, used to estimate your general location;
- which ads you saw and how you interacted with them;
- crash and performance data from Google's ad code.
Google uses this to show and measure ads, to prevent fraud and to improve its services, and may use cookies or similar identifiers to do so. Ads are never personalised to you, and the game never asks to track you. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before Google may use your data for ads. You can change it at any time in Settings, Privacy choices. You can read how Google uses data when you use its partners' sites or apps.
Who receives data
Only these companies, and only for the purposes above:
- Apple: iCloud save, Game Center, purchases and crash reports (Apple's privacy policy);
- Google: rewarded ads (Google's privacy policy).
Each of them must protect your data at least as well as this policy does. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.
How long data is kept, and how to delete it
- Your save stays on your iPhone until you delete the game. To delete the iCloud copy, go to Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage) and delete the game's data.
- To stop sending crash reports, turn off Share With App Developers in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.
- Apple and Google keep the data they receive for the periods set in their own privacy policies.
We hold no personal data about you ourselves. If you want to know what data relates to you, want it deleted, or want to withdraw consent, email us and we will help, including by passing your request to Apple or Google where they hold it. We answer within 30 days.
Children
The game is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or California's privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to use any of these rights.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
